Your path, at a glance
The process
No mystery about who’s helping, what’s next, or how your child is progressing. Here’s what each step actually involves.
01
Free · 20 minutes
We start with a short call – you, and your child if they’d like to join. We ask where your child is now, what they’re drawn to, and what’s worrying you most. Then we tell you honestly what we’d do first, whether or not you work with us.
Nothing to prepare. No transcripts, no test scores, no forms.
You leave the call with
02
Weeks 1–2
Your counselor builds a plan around your child, not a template: which classes to take, which tests to target and when, which activities are worth going deep on, and a first college list matched to what your child actually wants.
Every deadline that matters goes on one shared timeline, so nothing lives in someone’s head.
The plan covers
03
Ongoing
The same counselor meets your child on a regular rhythm – never a new face to catch up. Sessions are working sessions: draft an essay, shape a project, narrow the list, prep for a test date. Your child leaves each one knowing exactly what to do next.
Specialists join when the work calls for it – an essay mentor, a project mentor, a test prep coach – all briefed by the counselor who already knows your child.
Between sessions

Grade 12 · application season
Before anything is submitted, we review the parts that matter: the essays, the activities list, the school-by-school supplements, and the aid forms. We flag what’s weak while there’s still time to fix it.
Your child presses submit. We make sure nothing is missing when they do.
What gets reviewed
Getting started
Most families want to know how quickly things get moving. This is the usual shape of it.
We talk through your child’s goals, grade and timeline, and give you our honest first read.
You’re matched with a background-checked counselor and meet them properly.
Classes, tests, activities, a first college list and every deadline, in one place.
Your child has finished the first real piece of work — and knows what comes next.
Timelines are typical and shift with your child’s grade and how close application deadlines are.
Who does what
The most common worry we hear is “will this become another thing I have to manage?” It shouldn’t be. Here’s how the work splits.
Your counselor
Sets the strategy, runs the sessions, keeps every deadline tracked, and brings in specialists when a piece of work needs them.
Your child
Writes their own essays, chooses their own direction, and makes the decisions. We help them find their voice — we don’t write it for them.
You
You can see the plan and the progress at every stage, so you can support your child without chasing tasks or nagging about deadlines.
What’s included
From the first college search to the final submit button, one team keeps every moving piece connected.
Matched to what your child wants and needs, not a generic ranking.
We help your child find their voice, not write it for them.
Coursework, majors, test targets and study plans, all working together.
Every dollar of opportunity, and every form that goes with it.
Projects that grow out of genuine interest, not résumé padding.
Forms, letters, applications nothing slips through.
